Wednesday I got the shocking news that Dr. Chris Harris tragically and unexpectedly passed away. My husband worked for Dr. Harris and he was a mentor and a friend. He leaves behind an amazing wife and 5 beautiful children. His family was one of my favorites to photograph. Please keep this beautiful family in your prayers.

Wow this was one crazy photo session! After freeway closures, traffic accidents, and attacks by fire ants (to which I found out I am allergic!), I got a great workout chasing around these two. Little "R" reminds me of my own sweet girl, full of energy and personality. Luckily these two are so cute I had a hard time narrowing down my favs for their sneak peek! Mom was a little worried after our crazy session, but I think she'll be pleasantly surprised that her kids are not only full of energy but super photogenic! Big brother "T" was such a poser! Enjoy!

I love photographing babies and this one was so sweet! He is the first boy and has four older sisters that I have been lucky enough to photograph. He was just three weeks old, and I was amazed at how small he is. It makes me think that my fourteen month old son is HUGE! And I still think of him as my baby. Tane' and Josh's Wedding Part 2

Tane' and Josh were married at the Mesa LDS temple. Tane' was the perfect bride. She was absolutely gorgeous, happy, and in love with her man! Josh really loves Tane' (he wasn't even angry that he waited an hour and a half for her!) and they were cute and playful the whole day. Thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day. Tane' and Josh's Wedding Part 1

I had the honor of capturing Tane' and Josh's wedding day last week and it truly was a fabulous day. We started the day at the mother of the bride's home getting ready with her sisters. We had so much fun that I had a SERIOUSLY difficult time narrowing down the pictures for my blog.

Tane' got up super early and loved her red bull! She carried three extra cans in purse to the wedding.

Her bridesmaids were beautiful and her wedding party was so fun!

Tane's mother and stepfather put together all of the decorations for the reception. Every detail of the night was just perfect. It really was so beautiful and her cake was one of the neatest I've ever seen.

Michael and Amber's Wedding Part 1

I was so fortunate to photograph Michael and Amber's wedding! Amber is a beautiful person inside and out. Michael is really a great guy-these two make such a sweet couple. They were married at a charming private residence in Queen Creek. We started the day with Amber getting ready.

Next it was on to the ceremony. Amber wanted Michael to wait to see her until she was walking down the aisle. He was a great sport and closed his eyes until his best man, Jesse, told him she was on her way.

And this was his first look at his bride.

"N" Family at Papago Park

I met this adorable family at Papago Park on Friday. We had a crazy time walking around hole in the rock (I wore the wrong shoes!), but I think we got some good pictures. What made this photo shoot really special was that A and D had one of their first dates at Papago Park more than eleven years ago. It was really sweet of them to take their family there for pictures. Thanks for having me take your pictures!! The kids were so cute and I had a great time!

Amber and Michael are so much fun! We braved the wind and did a mini engagement session this last weekend. In spite of the weather, we had a great time and got some good shots. Beautiful Sedona!

My husband and I just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary! Being new to Arizona, I have always wanted to visit Sedona and was thrilled when my hubby surprised me with this little getaway! I can't take credit for all of the pictures--my husband took a few and our Pink Jeep tour guide (after looking at me like I was a crazy person when I handed him my SLR) took a few pictures for us. Just a little FYI, I totally recommend using a tour guide to take pictures or at least point you in the direction of the great shots. They know the area better than almost anyone (that’s why they are the tour guide), and subsequently the best places to get the shot. Enjoy!

Check these two out! They are business partners and needed a few photos for advertising. I was lucky enough to get to photograph them! Ric started the business several years ago doing truck linings, but they are expanding their business to coat several other surfaces and Jay partnered with Ric. I believe they still do truck linings so anyone in need, I'd go see Ric or Jay at Universal Global Coatings.

I didn't create their logo but I did take the picture and put their logo behind them.

This is my friend Julyssa. She and I moved into our neighborhood about the same time last year and hit it off right away! We both love to run, have kids close to the same age, and she just happens to be a very talented photographer. You can check her out {HERE}. David and Elyse Wedding

I've been thinking I really needed to post a few more personal pictures. I had a great break and have been able to catch up on a lot of my projects. These are pictures of my kids and my amazing husband. I needed some pictures at the love sculpture for another project I've been working on. We had such a fun time! My daughter really thinks that anytime I take pictures she needs to put on a little show! I love capturing her personality--and she is full of it!
